Sales results for a children’s fashion range by his wife Jools show that some items were being bought at a rate of one a minute while other pieces have sold out – all within four weeks of launching.
It suggests the Mothercare collection, called Little Bird, will make a millionaire in her own right out of the 37-year-old mother of four.
The range includes clothes for newborns and older children, nursery bedding and accessories. Pieces such as a floral tunic dress and rainbow pyjamas have sold out. Other popular items include a green-and-white “super star” graphic T-shirt.
