The Vineyard Oval Market will definitely satisfy all of your cravings.

From burgers to pizza’s, waffles to ice cream the market which is set up at Kenilworth Racecourse has food trucks and food stalls spread across the venue.

Since Wednesday at 1pm daily until Saturday it’s a special Christmas Market if you want to beat the mad rush at shopping centres and relax on the grass at the racecourse.

The Pickled Popper is a great place to start snacking, their chilli poppers are bite sized and filled with tasty ingredients.

Try the Bacon & Blue which Chef Ryan has filled with cream cheese, blue cheese and bacon and then cut the popper in half so you can nibble on it without losing any of the cheesy goodness.

He also does a tasty chimichanga where you have the option of a beef or chicken filling.

The Bangkok Street Food truck is bursting with delicious Asian flavours and the aroma alone when you pass by the stand will have you salivating.

Try the spring rolls first and then tuck into the Thai Red Curry or the Chicken Chow Mein which will take your taste buds straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok.

For a truly sweet end to the Vineyard Oval Market experience make sure you sink your teeth into a Wicked Waffle.

Like all good desserts it’s indulgent, sweet and a big portion and if you choose the popular Lady In Heaven waffle be prepared for a waffle topped with strawberries and smothered in cream drizzled with chocolate.

If you’re still feeling peckish then grab a pizza at The Pizza Guy where you can get a delicious pizza for less than R100.
