A university student who wrote her dissertation on the Kardashian family has gained a first-class honours degree.

Durham University graduate Eliza Cummings-Cove penned a 9,959-word tome on whether the reality TV stars were a post-feminist fairy tale – and plans to turn it into a book.

The sociology student, 20, of south east London, watched more than 80 hours of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

And she scored 76 per cent on her dissertation which helped her net a first-class honours at Durham Cathedral on Friday. Miss Cummings-Cove said: ‘I was very, very happy when I found out my score.’

She examined the love-lives of sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney and probed whether their weddings realised their idea of a post-feminist ‘happily ever after’. She concluded that ‘the culture they exist in is still very much rooted in misogyny and inequality’.
