Beer lovers and party animals stand the chance of winning double tickets to the Pecanwood Oktoberfest this weekend.

Attended by over 3 000 people last year, The Pecanwood Oktoberfest is now the biggest Oktoberfest in KZN with its next goal to be the biggest Oktoberfest in SA and then, ultimately, to be the biggest Oktoberfest outside of Germany.

The Pecanwood Oktoberfest, which takes place in the Midlands close to Howick, has an array of entertainment. You can enter a mixed team of four into the Oktoberfest tournament to stand the chance of winning loads of prizes.

There will also be great traditional German cuisine, the famous Chris Wigens Oompah band and some of Durban and surround’s best DJs and bands, including Red Light Stereo, playing late into the evening.

There is also dodgeball, KZN’s biggest slide, beer pong, boat races, a mechanical bull, human fooze ball, free weekend give-aways and an array of other activities, as well as over 20 different types of beer to taste and other drinks available at the Oktoberfest bars.
