Ankara - An explosion of criminal origin in a bar in Turkey's Black Sea town of Trabzon wounded nine people, Anatolia news agency reported Saturday.

"The explosion was caused by a bomb," Anatolia quoted town governor Nuri Okutan as saying.

Okutan ruled out any terrorist link in the attack which happened late Friday when dozens of people were inside the bar.

The blast blew out windows in neighbouring apartments. - Sapa-AFP
