Berlin - Eight school children and two adults were killed on Wednesday in a school shooting in southern Germany, the editor of a local paper told television channel N-TV.
Police confirmed to reporters that a shooting had occurred at the school near Waiblingen in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, and that there had been fatalities, but they declined to give exact casualty figures.
The perpetrator was reported to be on the run, dressed in black army fatigues. - AFP
