Ramallah, West Bank - The outcome of Israel's election, which puts the right-wing in a strong position to form the next government, will "paralyse" the peace process, Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat said on Tuesday.

"It's obvious the Israelis have voted to paralyse the peace process," Erakat told AFP.

"The outcome of the Israeli elections indicates there won't be in Israel a government capable of doing what is needed to achieve peace," he said. - AFP
