Moscow - Divers searching a sunken boat in Russia's Volga River have seen about 50 bodies, most of them children, in a recreation room on the vessel, an Emergency Situations Ministry spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

Ministry spokeswoman Yelena Smirnykh told Reuters that divers had not yet begun to remove bodies from the room, where survivors said many children had gathered shortly before the boat, carrying more than 200 people, sank on Sunday. - Reuters
