London - A 16-year-old boy was shot dead and another teenager suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach in a London park on Saturday, police said.
A group of four friends aged 15 and 16 were in the park in Plaistow, east London, in the early hours when two balaclava-clad gunmen appeared behind them and began shooting.
About four shots were fired, one hitting the 16-year-old in the upper left chest. He died at the scene.
The other boy, 15, was taken to hospital after being hit in his abdomen, and was said to be in a stable condition. - Reuters
