Goldbach, Germany - When it comes to the art of transporting the bigwigs of this world, security usually comes in the form of bullet-proof armoured plating and glass, but this limo has a different kind of safety feature. It's practically uncatchable.

German tuning company Voltage Design has just unleashed a project that uses the already-uber-potent Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG as a starting point.

In standard form the 6-litre V12 turbopetrol pushes 463kW and 1000Nm, but order Voltage's 'Stage One' engine conversion and you'll have 500kW and 1100Nm at your command, while the electronically limited top seed is raised to 300km/h. That will set buyers back a paltry 3899 euro (around R54 000) in Germany.

Raise the budget to 7899 euro (R110 000) and you could have a 'VD Stage' conversion that delivers 529kW, 1150Nm and a 320km/h top end. In addition to other unmentioned modifications, both versions boast racing air filters and new downpipes.

Voltage Design also offers the option of an upgraded carbon ceramic braking system inside the lager 21-inch wheels.

As the images depict, there's also a tasty aerodynamic exterior design package on offer, complete with all the necessary spoilers, skirts and diffusers, but this does come with a rather steep price tag of 24 900 euro (R348 600) and if you want the carbon bonnet then that’ll be another 3000 euro pile of pocket change.
