Johannesburg - Toyota SA has upgraded its extended warranty benefits by including wear-and-tear cover on selected components.

From 1 July all new extended warranty customers will be covered for the replacement of one set of shock absorbers, one clutch kit (including the clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing) as well as skimming the brake discs once each.

In addition, failure of major components - the engine, drivetrain and differentials - resulting from wear and tear will also be covered, subject to mileage limits.

And, says Toyota marketing vice-president Calvyn Hamman, there's no extra cost to the customer.

Toyota's extended warranty is available for any Toyota (except the Quantum Ses'fikile minibus taxi) that's still under the standard warranty and has a full service history with a Toyota dealership.

Ask your local dealer or the Toyota contact centre on 0860 123 329.
