Volvo shows us inside all-new XC90

Gothenburg, Sweden - Volvo is not quite ready to show us what its all-new XC90 looks like on the outside (although this concept will give you some clues), but the carmaker has gone the full monty on its cabin by releasing a batch of photos showing its most modern definition of Swedish luxury.
They're literally unveiling it from the inside out, and unless the leak specialists make puncture holes in Volvo's slow-reveal mechanism, we'll have to wait until August for the full unveiling of Volvo's grand SUV.
Back to the cabin, Volvo describes it as the "most exquisitely designed of any Volvo to date," and the accompanying pictures hardly give us a reason to argue.
Yet the most striking feature, according to Volvo's design VP Thomas Ingenlath, is the tablet-like touch screen control console, which "forms the heart of an all-new in-car control system." To that end, the system is virtually button-free and represents "an entirely new way for drivers to control their car and access a range of Internet-based products and services."
On the aesthetic front, the new cabin includes certain hand-crafted details such as a gear stick made from crystal glass and a few 'diamond cut' control buttons. This, in addition to the abundance of luxurious cow and tree that you'd expect to find in a Volvo.
