Just days after we brought you pictures of Lamborghini's imminent Murcielago replacement with its lightest disguise yet, the car's specifications have leaked onto the internet via an official Lamborghini dealer ordering guide.

While the first part of its name has not been revealed, the guide does disclose the second part, which is LP700-4.

Well, here's the juicy stuff: Its 6.5-litre V12 engine, linked to a seven-speed ISR (independent shifting rod) robotized gearbox, puts out 515kW at 8250rpm and 690Nm at 5500rpm.

There's no disappointment on the weight-loss schedule either, with the LP700-4 a whole 230kg lighter than the Murcielago at 1575kg.

Given its stunning power to weight ratio, Lamborghini claims that its new supercar will screech from 0-100km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top end of 350km/h.

Power is sent to all wheels (which are 19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the back) via a Haldex all-wheel drive system. The weight distribution is 43:57 front-rear.

And when you need to bring this raging bull to a halt, the job is done by a carbon ceramic braking system with six-pot caliper up front and four at the back.

Look out for a full reveal closer to its Geneva Motor Show unveiling in March next year.
