Numerous international sources have confirmed that Nissan is working on a very special version of its compact crossover, the Juke.

While the radically styled runabout is usually powered by a range of small four-cylinder engines, the “Super Juke” as it's dubbed, is rumoured to be motivated by a slightly tamer rendition of the Nissan GT-R's 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. In this guise, it's likely to produce around 350kW.

The sketch you see here is said to be a leaked rendering of the outrageous Juke, which is unlikely to be produced in large quantity. It sure looks the part with its huge, black GT-R-like alloys and bold body kit and rear spoiler.

Of course, Nissan is not revealing any details about the Super Juke at this stage, but a source indicated that we should know more by next week. Watch this space.
