Paris - Renault has released the first pictures of its all-new Scenic and it's undoubtedly going to go down in history as the most stylish ever.

It's never been particularly known for its style, with the first version of 1996 being something of an egg-shaped space-efficiency marvel and the subsequent two models being on the bland side - but the fourth-generation seems to have curves in all the right places.

While the rear and interior have yet to be revealed, the front shots show a design that takes its cues from the latest Megane and Clio, while a higher ground clearance, wider track and reduced overhangs give it a more muscular, even slightly crossover-like appearance.

Renault is not saying much about its new MPV until the official reveal at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1 so if you're keen to find out more then watch this space next Tuesday.
