Cheese, cheese and more cheese

A Cambridgeshire man says he has eaten nothing but cheese since he was a toddler.

Dave Nunley, 29, from Wyton, has a food phobia which makes him unable to eat anything else.

He survives by munching his way through 108kg of mild cheddar every year - preferably grated, reports the Sun.

And he only ever varies his diet with the odd slice of Red Leicester and a few salt and vinegar crisps.

The divorced dad-of two said: "If I could push a magic button for it all to change, then I would do so.

"I've never had a hot meal in my life - not even hot cheese. My throat goes all tight and I start sweating when I smell it. I am desperate to change.

"If I am tired or I've had a hard day at work then I will go for the easy meal of cheese off the lump - mild cheddar or occasionally Red Leicester, I won't touch anything other than that.

"Sometimes I push the boat out and have some 'posh nosh' - an A la carte menu of grated cheese and crisps where I actually have to use a fork."

He is 1,85m, and a sturdy 88kg with a 91cm waist. But medics fear his extremely unhealthy diet could cause his nervous system to fail, with catastrophic results.

Top dietician Nigel Denby said: "With this type of diet he is very short on protective antioxidants, vitamins and minerals which we get from fruit and veg." - Ananova.com
