Butterworth - A man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly killing an 84-year-old woman in Diphini near Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said.
The 26-year-old man allegedly stabbed the elderly woman to death on Wednesday, said Captain Jackson Manatha.
“The motive for the murder is suspected to be witchcraft,” he said.
He would appear in the Butterworth Magistrate's Court on Friday. - Sapa
