Cape Town - An alleged gangster kingpin and a woman were arrested in Worcester on Friday after police conducted a raid at a house, Western Cape police.

“Following an investigation into gang activities and a murder that was committed in Worcester prison in August 2013, warrants of arrest and search warrants were obtained which were executed early this morning in two Worcester suburbs,” said Captain FC Van Wyk.

A 32-year-old man and 30-year-woman were arrested in Tortelduif Street, Avon Park.

They face charges of murder and robbery.

“Computers, hard drives, bank cards, a black VW Golf ,documents, tik lollies and an undisclosed amount of cash were seized,” said Van Wyk.

The two were expected appear in the Worcester Magistrate's Court soon.

“Police are also looking for two brothers, Rico and Martin Heskwa, aged 32 and 33 respectively, who were wanted in connection with serious and violent crimes, but who were not home at the time,” he said.
