Kneeling in sand, his head bowed down to clasped hands, his shoulders shuddering with sobs, Vinod Hindocha said goodbye to his daughter Anni Dewani where her body was discovered. His wife Nilam knelt alongside him weeping silently. They paid their last respects to their daughter at the spot in Khayelitsha near to where Anni’s body, with a single bullet to the neck, was found on the back seat of a car on November 13.
Hindocha said Shrien Dewani, accused of orchestrating his wife’s murder, should have been there.
