Clinic, hall burned in Brits

Rustenburg - A clinic and a community hall were partly burnt in Oukasie near Brits, North West police said on Friday.

Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said the two incidents occurred on Wednesday evening.

Firefighters managed to extinguished the fires at the two buildings, but both were damaged. The cause of the fires remains unknown.

In an unrelated incident, five tuck-shops belonging to foreign nationals were allegedly looted in Ramogodi and Mapetla near Ga-Rankuwa.

“The police in Mmakau are investigating a case of public violence. No one has been arrested,” he said.
