Girl, 10, killed in ‘random’ shooting

A ten-year-old girl has been killed and four other people were wounded in Wesbank, Cape Town, Western Cape police said on Monday.

Gunmen “randomly opened fire” on Kasba Street on Sunday at 6.20pm, Lt-Col Andre Traut said.

“During the same incident three adult males and one adult female were wounded and admitted to hospital,” he said.

“The motive for the incident is yet to be established. The circumstances are being investigated and no one has been arrested as yet.” - Sapa
