A Soshanguve man was forced at gunpoint to watch two house robbers gang-rape his girlfriend.

A Soshanguve man was forced at gunpoint to watch two house robbers gang-rape his girlfriend after they broke into their home.

The couple, who cannot be named because of the nature of the crime, were watching TV in their lounge on Sunday night when their electricity went out.

The 39-year-old man went to the kitchen to check whether the power had tripped - but three men armed with pistols were lying in wait for him.

As the man walked into the kitchen, the gunmen overpowered him and forced him and his 23-year-old girlfriend into their bedroom.

Throwing them on to their bed, one of the gunmen stood over the man while his accomplices took turns to repeatedly rape his girlfriend.

The gunman continued to stand guard over the couple as his accomplices, after raping the woman, ransacked the house.

They fled with R200, a speaker, amplifier, DVD player and two cellphones.

Soshanguve police station spokesman Constable Sello Monyeki confirmed the attack.

He said the suspects had entered the couple’s home through an unlocked kitchen door.

“After they entered the house they turned off the electricity and attacked the boyfriend when he came to investigate why their power had gone out.”

He said no arrests had been made, and police were investigating a case of rape and house robbery.

“Our investigators are following up on information and are hoping for a breakthrough.”

Anyone with information on the suspects can contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111. - Pretoria News

This is what SA has succumbed to, maybe the ANCYL can hold ralliesconferences to discuss ways to deal with this shameful act instead of bickering about positions.

Some would have you believe that crime is driven by poverty. These thieves are not poor, they are trained terrorists, and their motivation is not money.

Welcome to South rApeFRICA. Another sad act of brutality. Check what they did in the DRC! How they raped so many villagers and their babies and they got away with it. rApeFRICA is the new name of our bloody continent. It's out of control. The government is clamping down on press freedom and allowing rape freedom to flourish. Execute these savages and cut off their parts. Soo sad to hear this. Severe harsh punishment is the only way to sort these rapist wolf pack cowardly predators. If caught the couple or representatives of them should be allowed to torture and kill thos rapists. Maybe trhe courts and parliament and the constitional fat cats get some of this criminal violence then they'll start doing something. No, they'll let crime flourish as it is a means of crowd control for criminal governments who allow predator packs of criminals to operate. Hang them all.

Withdrawing ALL guns from the public is a logical starting point in fighting violent crime.Withdrawing ALL fire-arms from the public is a logical starting point in fighting violent crime. The public can only be issued with fire-arms when absolutely necessary and under stringent conditions.
