North West - The headless body of a man was found near a railway line in Danville near Mahikeng, North West police said on Monday.
Police spokesperson Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said the body of a man believed to be in his early twenties was found on Sunday.
“A case of murder has been registered and investigation is underway. The victim was wearing red jersey, a pair of green jeans with brown takkies,” he said.
“The police request members of the community to assist in identifying the body and to come forward with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect by calling Detective Captain Pule Motsielwa on 078 366 3303.”
