Husband-killer case: Judgment resumes after lunch

Judgment of Widow Mulalo Sivhidzho, accused of hiring hitmen to kill her husband, Avhatakali Netshisaulu, son of former editor-in-chief Mathata Tsedu, is set to resume after lunch at the Johannesburg High Court on Thursday.

Acting Judge Naren Pandya has thus far been through details of the case, as well as testimonies and evidence of witnesses.

Ninety-five witnesses testified in the trial.

Judge Pandya has adjourned the court to “regain (his) energy” and will commence judgment at 14h00 with details on the cross-examination of accused 1, Ntabudzeni Matsenene.

Thereafter cross-examination of accused 2, Johannes Arnold Sello and accused 3, Sivhidzho, will be looked at.

Judgment appears unlikely to be concluded today.
