Johannesburg - The mansion on Linksfield Ridge where Radovan Krejcir’s former Playboy model girlfriend used to live is soon to be auctioned.

Marissa Christopher lived in the four-storey house from October 2013, paying R90 000 a month in rent.

But sources have told The Star that soon after Krejcir’s arrest, the rental stopped being paid, and that last month, the company that owned the property went into liquidation.

According to a liquidation document from the Master of the High Court, the value of the property has been estimated to be R15.8 million.

The Star reported in 2014 that Christopher, who was well known as the Czech crime boss’s girlfriend, lived in the mansion even though she was unemployed.

She publicly denied being Krejcir’s girlfriend.

Christopher was Playboy South Africa’s October 2012 playmate.

She is the daughter of a former Umkhonto weSizwe leader, Russell Christopher, who told City Press in 2012 that he was estranged from his daughter.

The paper said at the time that Krejcir had bought Christopher a luxury sports car worth about R1m.

Both Christopher and Krejcir denied this at the time.

The mansion, on Kallenbach Drive on Linksfield Ridge, is being advertised on Park Village Auctions' website.

The property is described on the site as a large multi-level house with a covered walkway bridge on the main level, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, with one bedroom being a main en-suite with a large dressing room and walk-in linen closet.

“Sliding doors from the bedrooms and lounge access a large patio overlooking the northern suburbs of Johannesburg,” the site says.

A staircase from the lounge on the upper level leads to the lower level comprising a spa bath area, large open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, with sliding doors accessing a large, partially covered patio and infinity swimming pool.”

On the lower ground level, there is a sun room, guest cloakroom, snooker room and a basement storage area, the website says.

The property also has a cottage and two sets of staff accommodation.

According to the site, bidders have to pay a refundable R100 000 deposit, and have to register and make an appointment in order to view the property.

The auction is due to take place on May 14, and once the hammer falls, a 15 percent deposit will have to be paid.
