Cape Town - Former Western Cape police commissioner Arno Lamoer and his co-accused are expected back in the Western Cape High Court on Tuesday.

Lamoer, police brigadiers Darius van der Ross, Sharon Govender and Kolindren Govender, as well as businessman Saleem Dawjee, are facing 109 charges of corruption, racketeering and money laundering involving roughly R1.6 million.

Lamoer is accused

of accepting money and

other benefits from Dawjee, who allegedly used his connections to Lamoer and the

other accused top police officers to illegally advance his interests.
