Johannesburg - A 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Zola, Soweto, Gauteng police said on Wednesday.
The man was taken into custody after he allegedly fired a shot at a woman who had been demanding money from him on Tuesday, said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
Makhubela said the man would also be charged for possession of an unlicensed firearm and theft.
He would appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court within 48 hours, said Makhubela. - Sapa
