Mankweng - A 64-year-old woman was arrested on Friday for selling dagga in Mankweng, in Limpopo, police said.

“Police received information that there was a certain old woman selling dagga at Segopje Ga Mamabolo,” said Constable Matimba Maluleke.

He said that when the police arrived at the house, the woman led them to a room where she kept four large bags and two small bags full of dagga.

Maluleke said the bags weighed about 46.07kg, and were worth about R150 000 on the street.

“The suspect was arrested and will appear in the Mankweng Magistrate's Court once she is formally charged,” Maluleke said.
