Johannesburg - A student constable accused of fatally shooting a Soweto teenager is expected to appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

Student Constable Sipho Mbatha allegedly killed 16-year-old Thato Mokoka in Braamfischerville Phase Two, Soweto, on February 14.

The teenager was shot three times with an R-5 rifle, apparently while lying on the ground outside the home of his grandmother Sybil Mokoka. - Sapa
