Bloemfontein - A 56-year-old man was expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly running a brothel, Free State police said.
“On Friday the police raided a guest house that belongs to the man and it was found that it was allegedly being used as a brothel,” spokesman Captain Chaka Marope said.
“The man was arrested and so were four ladies aged between 37 and 40 years old. Investigations continue.”
Marope said he could not confirm a report in The New Age that the man was a university professor from Bloemfontein.
According to the report, the guest house was in Fleurdal.
