Cape Town - Cape Town police are looking for a young man who allegedly stole a surveillance camera, not realising that his image had already been captured.
The brazen thief was filmed perching on a wall, reaching out to grab the camera from its mounting at a house in Bellville.
Bellville police are appealing to the public to help trace the young man.
Police spokesperson André Traut said: “On September 10, a surveillance camera was stolen from a residence in Bellville, but before the suspect could remove the camera, an image of him was captured on the surveillance system.”
