Cape Town - President Jacob Zuma on Wednesday announced the appointment of Justice Fayeeza Kathree-Setiloane as acting Judge of the Constitutional Court.

In a statement, the Presidency said Zuma had appointed Kathree-Setiloane in terms of section 175 (1) of the of the Constitution.

Kathree-Setiloane, a Judge of the Gauteng Local Division of the High Court, will serve on the Constitutional Court until December 30 while Justice Sisi Virginia Khampepe is on vacation leave.
