Durban - Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane listed several claims which contributed to what she referred to as a rocky start to her term in office.

She was speaking at a briefing of her first 100 days in office.

Mkhwebane also confirmed that she has filed notice to appeal against President Jacob Zuma’s application to review the "State of Capture" report but said she might change her mind after seeking more legal advice.

Meanwhile, she is considering suing the DA for claiming that she is a State Security Agency spy. She said the staff have been welcoming, despite several recent senior resignations.
