ANC KZN regions elect leadership

Durban - Three African National Congress regions in KwaZulu-Natal have elected new leadership, the provincial secretary said on Wednesday.

“KwaDukuza, Far North, and Abaqulusi regions have successfully elected their new leadership, bringing the number of regions that have held their elective conferences to nine,” said Sihle Zikalala.

“We have no doubt that the remaining two regions will also have successful conferences. We congratulate the new leadership.”

In the Abaqulusi region, Sipho Nkosi was elected chairman, Sibusiso Mhlongo deputy chairman, Victor Dlamini secretary, Nozipho Mavuso deputy secretary, and Bheki Mkhonza treasurer.

In the Far North region, those elected were chairman Bethuel Mthethwa, deputy chairwoman Hlobisile Dlamini-Ngxongo, secretary Nkosingiphile Mlambo, deputy secretary Mbongiseni Gina, and Israel Nyawo as treasurer.

In the KwaDukuza region, Ricardo Mthembu was elected as chairman, Maxwell Chili, deputy chairman, Thabani Mdlalose secretary, Zibuyile Khuzwayo deputy secretary, and Thulani Ntuli as treasurer. - Sapa
