Karima Brown, Group Executive Editor of Independent Media, speaks to ANC deputy secretary-general Jessie Duarte on the party’s prospects in the hotly contested Nelson Mandela Bay metro.

Duarte says that the ANC believes Motherwell will be their differentiator and give them the 51 percent they need.

Earlier, voting figures from the Eastern Cape metro stood at 56 percent for the DA at 56 percent and 35 percent for the ANC.
