Cape Town - Democratic Alliance MP Dianne Kohler Barnard has publicly apologised for sharing a post that supported apartheid-era president PW Botha - but Twitter is having none of it.

Many South Africans online have said the repost revealed Kohler Barnard's true colours, and the ANC has issued a statement calling for her to be fired from Parliament.

All eyes are now on DA leader Mmusi Maimane, to see how he handles the controversy.
