Cape Town - The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Eastern Cape on Friday sent its condolences to the family of two slain relatives of provincial deputy secretary, Sisimone Rakaibe.
Rakaibe’s daughter Lerato and son-in-law Monde Mpengesi were found dead on Thursday morning. Both had died from gunshot wounds but further details surrounding their deaths were yet to be established.
“As the SACP in the Eastern Cape, we wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Mpengesi and Rakaibe family,” said SACP provincial spokesperson Siyabonga Mdodi.
“We wish them strength to go through this difficult period. May their souls rest in eternal peace.”
