Rustenburg – The ANC remained the favourite political party among South African people, President Jacob Zuma said on Friday.
“The ANC belongs to the people, it has maintained a posture that identifies with the people and it will work for a long time to achieve a real democratic society. People love the ANC,” Zuma at the ANC’s 104th anniversary gala dinner at Sun City, near Rustenburg in North West, late on Friday night.
No amount of negativity could weaken the party, he said.
“Negative propaganda about the ANC has been showered down in the last 21 years, but people do not listen to that because they know the ANC, he said to a round of applause from businessmen and other dignitaries at the event. “
