The body of a three-month-old baby girl was found in a long-drop toilet at Mohodi in the Dendron area, Limpopo, on Thursday, police said.
The baby's body was discovered by the property's owner, who informed the police about the incident, Superintendent Patty Khumalo said on Friday.
The only way to reach the child had been to destroy the toilet, she said.
When the baby was found, she was already dead.
Khumalo said the motive for the baby's murder was not known. - Sapa
