Port Elizabeth - A woman died and more than 40 people were injured following a bus accident in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, said the bus collided with a stationary bakkie and also went into the wall of a Standard Bank building between Commercial and Kempston road on Friday afternoon.
Labans said the 25-year-old driver was tested for alcohol but the results indicated a zero percent level in his system.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide as well as reckless and negligent driving.
