A twenty-eight-year-old man shot and killed his girlfriend, aged 18, before turning the gun on himself, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said that the two had apparently had a quarrel.
They were found on Sunday morning in their home in Kalalo locality. The woman had two bullet wounds to her head and the man had one.
A 9mm pistol had been used. - Sapa
