Teen missing after swimming

A 14-year-old boy is presumed to have drowned after being swept out to sea in Port Elizabeth, the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) said on Sunday.

The boy, a 38-year-old woman and three teens were caught in rip currents in the surf at Well's village on Saturday evening, NSRI spokesman Craig Lambinon said.

Four of them managed to swim back to shore..

“No sign of the missing 14-year-old male has been found and police are due to continue a search on Sunday,” Lambinon said. - Sapa
