Bloemfontein - A man in his 70s was killed in an accident on the N1 outside Bloemfontein on Monday afternoon, paramedics said.
His body was found a few metres from his car in the veld, ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said.
Four other people, including a child aged around one, had injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The cause of the accident, which involved two vehicles, was not immediately clear.
