Johannesburg - A 77-year-old woman was injured in a collision on Ring Road, Arcon Park, near Vereeniging, on Monday, ER24 reported.

ER24 said two vehicles were found at an intersection when the paramedics arrived on the scene.

“Both drivers were assessed and they found that the elderly driver had sustained a fractured lower leg while the other driver had no injuries,” ER24 said.

The 77-year-old was treated and then taken to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further treatment.

The cause of the collision was not known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
