Johannesburg - A man was killed in Witpoortjie, Roodepoort, east of Johannesburg, when he was hit by a train, paramedics said on Monday.
“It is unclear how the incident happened,” Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said in a statement.
She said police would investigate the circumstances of the accident.
“Netcare 911 paramedics and other services were called to the incident scene where they found that a man tragically lost his life after he was hit by a train,” she said.
