Vanderbijlpark - A woman was killed when the bakkie she was travelling in overturned in Vanderbijlpark on Friday, paramedics said.

The driver of the bakkie lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road, rolled and came to rest at the side of the road, said ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson.

She said the woman, in her 20s, died at the scene. The driver was not injured. - Sapa
