The ex-boyfriend of former South African Idols winner Karin Kortje has been found guilty of murdering a Durbanville guesthouse owner in 2006.
Cheslin Williams has been found guilty of murder, attempted rape and theft. Judgment was handed down in the Bellville Magistrate's Court this morning.
Williams and Kortje had stayed at Renate Kellerman's Le Petit Chateau guest house for a few days in 2006, and Kellerman's half-naked body was found in the room where the couple had stayed.
Kellerman had been stabbed several times in her neck and chest.
