Johannesburg - A man was injured in a head-on collision on the R103 in Camperdown in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday, paramedics said.
“One person was injured in the head-on collision involving a car and a truck,” Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said
Paramedics and the fire department arrived at the scene and found the man, who was in his 40s, still trapped in his vehicle.
After he was freed, the man was placed on a ventilator, and taken to a Pietermarizburg hospital.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The cause of the accident would be investigated, Botha said. - Sapa
