Durban - An uMhlanga restaurant has re-opened after its roof collapsed at the weekend.

Bar Ba Coa manager Trevor Schult said contractors had been working on a Telkom installation above the restaurant when their scaffolding crashed through the roof.

Schult said no-one was hurt in the incident that happened about 10am on Saturday. He said a makeshift roof had been rigged and the restaurant, at the corner of Lighthouse Road and Chartwell Drive, had been cleaned and opened in time for lunch on Sunday.
