Johannesburg -
The commission of inquiry set up to investigate the collapse of a mall in Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal, resumes on Wednesday.
A section of the mall, which was under construction, collapsed in November last year.
Two people died and 29 others were injured.
The Department of Labour's occupational health and safety manager, Phumudzo Maphaha, was appointed to preside over the commission, which would investigate events leading to the collapse of the Tongaat Mall.
He will be assisted by co-presiding officer Sandile Kubheka and Lennie Samuel, a forensic investigator and organiser.
The commission was expected to prepare a report of its findings and formulate recommendations which would be presented to the labour minister and the directorate of public prosecutions for their consideration. - Sapa
